Interaction with darkness

In the poem, Adolescence II, I believe that the girl avoids interaction with the darkness that is surrounding her. It seems as if the darkness is trying to interact with her, but she does not want ot interact with it. Maybe as if the darkness represents old problems that she's had and that she doesn't want to be reintroduced to those ways. Also, the moon light that is sliced thru the blinds may signify her fighting against the darkness, with it being the only light that she sees. All-in-all, I believe that it is more the darkness trying to interact with the girl and not visa versa.
